Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Fly into Baltra Island, and then cross the Itabaca Channel, which separates this island from Santa Cruz. On the other side, a bus will take you to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island to visit the Giant Tortoises Reserve. View these reptiles in their natural habitat, a unique experience! A stop is made at the Twin Pit Craters, which is a great depression of volcanic material. Scalesia trees, ferns, mosses and orchids provide an exotic backdrop. A box lunch is provided and then it is on to the Finch Bay Eco Hotel to enjoy its multiple attractions: pool, sea kayaks, the white coral beach in front of the hotel, or a nap in your hammock. In the evening, dinner includes the flavors of local and international gastronomy, one more attraction of the Finch Bay Eco Hotel.
While staying at Finch Bay you may choose optional yacht excursions to the islands of North Seymour, Plaza, Sante Fe, and Bartolome aboard the new Sea Finch Yacht. This is the fastest vessel in the Galapagos with an air-conditioned lounge, bar, and dining area; cruise the archipelago in style! Water activities abound with sea kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving trips offered daily. Finch Bay offers various land excursions including multisport activities, while still offering plenty of free time to swim in the pool, explore the beach, or to just relax in the Jacuzzi.
Click Finch Bay Excursions for more information about the yacht and land excursions offered at the Finch Bay.
Leave the hotel early in the morning for a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station, home to tortoises from all over the islands. Then it is time for your overland transfer to the airport in Baltra to take your flight back to the continent.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
Info was accurate and delivered quickly so that a decision could be made. This is my second trip with Adventure Life.

Claudia does an excellent job of communicating. HOWEVER…you paperwork requirements are constipated — a real impediment to doing business. Fire the lawyers or accountants over that.
