The Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships was founded in 1993 to pursue a dream of offering sailing outings on traditional tall ships. The fleet currently includes the tall ships Liberty Clipper and Liberty Star, gaff-rigged schooners modeled after 19th-century vessels once known for their speed and agility. The company has been operating day sails in Boston Harbor for 20 years, and the fleet returns home for the summer sailing season from June through September. Today the Liberty Fleet offers regular public sails aboard authentic tall ships in Boston Harbor. Sailing opportunities include day sails, sunset sails, and the specialty Sunday Brunch and Rum & Revelry sails.
