A view of the surrounding nature (Paulina Romero)After a 45 minutes flight, we landed in Cuenca, the flight was a good start... all those volcanoes below as welcoming us to our fast journey. Cuenca, so beautiful. Don't want to waste a minute so we run to the Cajas National Park.
This special place is surrounded by lakes (230 total!!!). The sun plays with the shadows over the mountains... each step is full of good energies. The Polilepis trees make you feel as if you are part of a fairytale. Back in Cuenca, we decided to visit a great museum, it is Pumapungo, there you can find archeology, colonial art, culture of the country. Great choice!
